The issue was of backlight bleeding.wherein a bright border was visible on the screen.Unfortunately, I found this out after the 15day return period of Amazon. So I had to call the Yu support.


The number was not TOLL FREE, and call lasted for about 47 min untill my balance flushed out. They gave me troubleshooting steps including the standard RESET, Safe mode, HARD reset, bla bla bla.all software issue related. Huh! software troubleshooting for HARDWARE issue! I had to do it all but No use.


next time I approached them on email. after waiting a few days, they replied me to send pics of display. I thought they were listening, But all of it was an eye wash. They next contacted me on PHONE. and said WE CANNOT GIVE ANY REPLACEMENT AS THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH YOUR DEVICE.


The border clearly visible in photos and they cannot see it? I requested them to send me email that they are not providing Replacement as they cannot "See" any issue with my device. But they refused to send such email.WHY CAN’T THEY SEND EMAIL IN WRITING ABOUT WHAT THEY SAID OVER PHONE?(sic)


Instead they sent me details of Support centres and asked for physical inspection of device.
