I must say I dont like aby Chinese product because like any chinese products they dont last very long. Now Yu maybe a Indian company but it is buying everything already made with just their Yu stamp. I was not planning to buy it but looking at the hype, craze and need for a phone in budget I bought it and surprisingly it was not a big mistake. I was really impressed how much you can get at such a low price point. It was able to impress me. In this review I will tell you every good and bad aspects of this phone where bad are hardly anywhere. I did not experience any problems which are popular with this device I guess I was lucky. But anyway s lets get started.
: BUILT:
The Yuphoria is famous for having a metal frame at this price point. The metal frame not only looks premium but also provide protection at the edges. The front is a 5 inch display worth gorilla glass 3 protection. Wow I mean some flagships use Gorrila flass 3 not a budget phone and at the front there is 5mp camera and at the rear 8mp camera with LED flash. Still amazing how much you get at this price range. The right side have volume and power button together and it is not unusual to press power button sometimes but not a big deal the noice cancellation mic are near at saturn ring and at bottom.It has a removable 2230mah battery and the back is not a very rigid but has a very good feel. At back there are speakers which are really loud and you will not have any problems in crowded places. Inside battery area there are dual sim slots both 4g supported which is amazing and micro sd slot even after 16 gb internal. Trust me people it is not easy to provide all this in small premium package with such a low price. In all impressed with Built quality and every builtin feature.
: DISPLAY:
It has a 5inch IPS LCD display with 300 ppi and 720p hd display. The display is really good and I loved it witj the fact that how much bright it can get and no problems with outdoor ans sunlight conditions. The movie exprience was really good but I noticed it sometimes lag while playing YouTube video. But a good solid beautiful display.
: PERFORMANCE AND GAMING:
The day to day usage has no issues or lag. It is equipped with Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 . With quad core 1.2ghz cortex A53 and Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB ram. It is a really good performer with day to day usage. I once ran 8 apps and in the morning it was still running and didn’t refreshed wow I was impressed. While on the gaming side I played almost all games but I was not able to play GTA SAN ANDREAS. I didn’t tested much games but other small games had no problems with it. SO KUDOS to performance but may not be good for gamers.
: CYNOGEN& UI:
The reason I like cynogen is user custmazibility. You can almost do anything amd features like double tap to wake and turn off is my favourite. And a lot of features that you can see for yourself as there are many. But still its not perfect as it has bugs. RUNNING on Cynogen 12.1 on top of lollipop 5.1.1 it still has bugs like apps crashing, themes reset on reboot and low memory error but clearly 8gb free. But still its good but needs some work.
: Battery:
It has a 2230mah battery which is also not very good but not very bad at all. I was able to get 4 hours of screen ontime with heavy usage like lots of Facebook Whatsapp gaming and YouTube. But it may vary from person to person and maybe able to get more but it will surely last a day.
: Camera:
The front is 5mp camera which can tale really amazing selfies for such a low price. It is really a decent camera. Wow.of you are a selfie lover you will really like it. The rear 8mp camera is also amazing and you will be able to get really amazing shots also its a, 1080p video shooter amd at this price range I was expecting 720p.Wow I am surprised and really appreciate it. It is indeed a really good performer.In this price bracket for me its the best camera.
In the end my final verdict is if you are thinking of buying it go for it. You will not be disappointed, and dont doubt it.
