I purchased my YU Yureka Plus in first flash sale. I have also used Yu Yureka for 6 motns which I purchased in second flash sale. I was looking for a phone which would provide me lots of customization option. Though the company was new in the market but the features they were offering at that price point was more than value for money.Below are some of the likes and dislikes which I will like to point out.
Likes: 1) Software of the phone i.e Cyanogen OS was truly awesome.It had few bugs here and there but taking overall experience was mind blowing.It would offer lots and lots of customization at every point even the updates were pretty frequent too. 2). From development point of view you can use your phone as per your need even rooting will not void your warranty and you can install different ROM as per your need.
3). Display quality of the phone was truly awesome.It has got 1080P Full HD display and its sunlight visibility was also up to the mark. 4). Gaming Experience of the phone was excellent considering the price point it has got. Though it has got some heating issues which was reduced after the current software update. I have played Modern Combat 5 Asphalt 8 and FIFA 16 currently playing all are playable in medium graphics without any lag. Lagging was there in High graphics mode but still playable.All high configuration games are easily playable. 5). CPU of the phone is Snapdragon 615 which has the reputation of heating but in terms of performance and multitasking it is certainly one of the best in business. 6). RAM capacity of 2GB out of which users get around 1.4 gb free which certainly means that the ram is enough for heavy users too. 7). Camera of the device is 13MP shooter capable of recording 1080P full high definition videos. Still shots are good as it comes with SONY IMX230 sensor which was certainly one of the hardware capable of taking good pictures. 8). Forum strength is nearly 1 lakh members and there is alaways someone to help you.
Things which I dislike about the device is. 1). Battery of the phone was one of the let down of the device as 2500mah battery capacity was not going to be enough for FHD screen and battery drainage was always an issue which was there with me. 2). Camera of the phone was good and capable of taking shots of highest quality but the image processing was not of good quality as though daylight shots were good but the night shots were not upto the mark.Front camera is fixed focus 5MP shooter which was not at all up to the mark in low light conditions. Software for image processing need a considerable amount of improvement for camera to perform at its full capacity. Though there are third party camera apps which can easily be installed if you root your phone. 4). Customer service needs to be improved but I have not faced any problem with this regard even after availing there service for more than 10 times since I had purchased 6 YU Yureka Plus. For me customer service was prompt and I have never contacted them over phone and only provided problems over mail.
Conclusion:You can easily go for it without giving second thought as value for money is 9 out of 10.
