So this is YU’s first actual flagship device.
I agree there are some tough rivals out there for under 25K but boy this beast definitely worth a look.
First up the camera in this phone is just fantastic it has an amazing dynamic range and 21 megapixels of clarity.
It is inexpensive just like the other YU phones it takes less and offers more.
This sure is beauty it looks so premium in the hand and that saturn ring surely does look amazing.
It performs beastly the snapdragon 810 chip performs amazing while avoiding heating, it can compete to other flagships in gaming department which cost around twice as yutopia.
Things you have to consider though-
Just like other yu phones it runs on cyanogen mod and its quite buggy "YET" but i’m pretty sure it’ll be fixed and stable in no time. cyanogen mod provides updates weekly.
it is quite large and unweildy so all the compact lovers out there may not like it.
my final verdict
bugs can be fixed and software can be optimised through updates, but would you buy a phone hoping that would happen? If your answer to that is yes, then the Yu Yutopia is a good pick. If not, then the OnePlus 2 is more powerful, while the Honor 7 is the most stable.
