I have purchased a Handycam GR-D93 from BAHRAIN Duty-free shop 3 years back and it was used only thrice. After I tried to use it after a gap of 06 months, I found that LCD screen display is not functioning. I can record/click pictures , but no display. I have contacted JVC website Asia-pacific, and from JVC , came to know that there is some JVC representation at Ahmedabad. While contacting him, he said that the camera need to be send to Mumbai for repair n it will take a month time.
I was totally upset about this and I discarded my handycam . On Saturday, March 29, 2008, there was an advertisement about JVC & Fedders Lloyd Corporation Limited partnership venture, I thought of contacting them enquiring whether I can get my Camera repaired? I have send an email to the mail ID perfectservice@fedderslloydcorp.com appeared in the ad, but to my surprise it was returned undelivered. I have tried to contact Fedders Lloyd Corporation Limited website n there is no contact address or proper information, therefore send an email to lloydac@indiatimes.com. But no response from them. Therefore tried to contact JVC-India website ( very poor site with no information’s) and asper info from site, I contacted their Customer Service Centre- No response . Tried to contact their given representative at Vadodara, pushan_raval2005@yahoo.com and failed to get any response from him.
Whats happening to JVC ? If a customer purchase any of its product from other countries and no authorized/proper service centre available in India, what will happen .its disaster.
Therefore its my appeal to all, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY JVC Products. If so, you will repent.
This partnership between Fedders Lloyd n JVC is not going to do any good to those purchased JVC products n it’s a trade understanding between two to boost up their sales n fool us.
