At the last moment on my wife’s birthday I decided to visit this restaurant for Lunch, two main reasons were that it was close to my wife’s office and their advertisement as "Vana Bhojanam". My wife wanted to have something authentic andhra style food and I wanted it in a pleasant restaurant and chose this venue as our option.
I am glad to say that my choice was perfect and this restaurant provided what they promised and much more. I called in for the reservation and also spoke on pricing, was appreciative to know that they in fact reserved a table for us and also provided us with multiple options to choose from.
To start with the Menu is very new and refreshing from all other routine north Indian style lunch menus around and food options for both vegetarian and non-veg’s are plenty.
The unlimited thali sounded lucrative for me but I ended up with one of their fixed thalis, the staff did not push us for the higher price combo in the menu and suggested us with genuine options, something I completely appreciate.
The taste of the food and customer service was excellent, we had a dedicated service person to cater our needs and he fed us like a family member trying to find what we need next and supplying it at the earliest. The best part of the meal was chicken chutney(pickle)which I never had in any restaurant till date and was not even part of their menu - completely bowled with this.
Finally they gave us a complimentary dessert that was not on the menu and was their Chef’s creation of sorts and wanted us to name the dish as part of some contest they were running. To be honest the dessert was a super flop and none of us liked it but named it something just not to dishearten the staff.
Overall a very pleasant and unexpected experience at this restaurant, my best wishes for this team and looking forward to another sumptuous meal soon.
