Recently I came upon a a website after seeing a couple of ads in ’metro plus’- a hindu newspaper supplement. The site was named yummybay.com, even though the ad said it was an online food ordering portal, the details were very vague in the ad. I gave it a try since I have seen a couple of such sites abroad. When I searched the site for restaurants in Kochi around 40 restaurants were shown in their page, well I chose food circle and ordered a couple of shawarmas and 2 margarita pizza’s for the 3 or us. Few minutes later someone from the restaurant called up to confirm the order and then we waited.
Around 45 min later the food was delivered to my flat and the pizza’s were pretty decent. At the end of the day what I figured was that this is pretty useful compared to ordering over the phone coz I had a bad experience once where they mixed up my order and also there are more options to choose from in this case. I am sure to use this feature again!!
