I want to make the Sunday evening pretty special so decided to visit Zafraan with my fiance last month. After reaching there I was bit confused that where to sit. actually they have three different arrangements according to the ambience and the taste and these are: The Aqua Lounge(Bar/Pub), Laguna(For Italian food) and Exotica(For Indian food).
After look over all three places, we decided to sit at Exotica and I am sure that the decision was 100% right. Its such a nice place that you will definitely feel good at the first sight. great deco, great theme and great ambience that’s Exotica.
we had good time there, enjoyed talks, food, drinks and fresh air.
My ratings:
Ambience:(9 out of 10) Its an open-air restaurant on 7th floor so one can get a good view from top.
Food:(6/10) Food was OK and quantity was good.(we opted la-carte), but there is nothing special in it, we expect good food at such places.
Service:(8/10) service was quick. I think they have excess waiters.
Price:(8/10) Not less not much. Price is according to the fine dine restaurants i.e more than the value. e.g Mocktails(150 average), Starters(150 - 200), Main course(200 - 300 per dish), Desserts(100 - 150).
Average expense for 2 persons: Rs. 1000 - 1200
In the end, We were lucky on that day because the bill charges are less than as mentioned in the menu. When I asked waiter about this, he said, " Today we had reduced the prices and the menu is till not updated."
