I think it was a vague day of sorts coz right from the time of entry in to the IBM campus to the valet parking, things were going wrong. Bad traffic jams, wait for valet(i have to admit there were 3 cars ahead of us), the lobby area seemed like a take from a Star Trek episode.
Voila, you enter into Exotica - Zaffran and Aqua Lounge on the other end. It was drizzling, ambience was perfect - high atop the 6th floor, look and feel of a place to cosy up with loved ones. The waiters who seemed a little intimidated, took a few mins to take down orders - we were celebrating a bday, all and any requests of a birthday song were rejected.
Starters werent impressive, for one they were cold and the meat seemed delivered right out of the freezer..biryani - excessively spicy lacked lustre and taste. The butter chicken was a fair job but the rotis were delicious. The prices seemed reasonable at first, I mean come on how will they pay for the decor and so many unutilized waiters..At the end of the meal we felt cheated coz - Whats in a name?
All in all, a rating of 2 on 5 (purely for the ambience and the rotis)
