Awesome Experience

Location :

The restaurant is a rooftop place in the Panchshil Tech Park(housing IBM Daksh), on the road connecting Airport Road(Golf Club circle) to Nagar Road(KalyaniNagar Signal). 7th Floor of the building.

About the Restaurant:

*3 Key areas. The Aqua Lounge, the a-la-carte & the brunch area. The restaurant has a lot of open space, and the constant breeze of fresh air(if u can call Pune’s air that!) makes airconditioned restaurants look unattractive. The views of Pune and surrounding hills are fascinating, and I am sure the evenings will be romantic with a lit up city around you.

Cuisine: The restaurant serves 2 cuisines: Mediterranean & Indian

Food & Drink:

I visited the restaurant for the Sunday brunch. A-la-carte was also available but the brunch was totally not worth missing. The options for the brunch are "just food included" and a "unlimited drinks included".

Drinks*:

In the unlimited drinks were available an unlimited dose from 3 cocktails or some non alcoholic drinks like flavored iced teas and juices. The choice of cocktails were from 2 vodka based and 1 sparkling wine based. They were all delightful; 1 was a Litchi cocktail with Vodka; the second with Orange twist and saffron and vodka; the third had kahlua & vanilla with sparkling wine. Now heading for the food.

Salads and Starters

There was an amazing spread of salads covering about 10 types of salads and an equal number of sauces. The starters are served at the table . There were 4-5 starters to delight us. I still dream of some of the salad and starter items with the way they aroused my taste buds.

Main Course

Now this had a great choice for both vegetarian and non vegetarian patrons. I had some of the best Goan fish curry ever!, then there was chicken, lamb, paneer, mixed veg, mushroom, dal, veg and mutton biryani and 3-4 continental main courses. Besides there was a live Pasta counter, doling out pasta in a choice between 3 sauces again in both vegetarian and non vegetarian.

Desserts

Now for the best part.(well coming a very close 2nd is the salads section).

There was a choice of 8 desserts between the firangi to the desi. There was unbelievably delicious mango something(couldnt for the heck of me remember the name, but the taste still lingers on, Blueberry Cheesecake(Ummmmmm Yummy), Danish Gateaux, Halwa & Angoor Rabdi, there were also the not so bad chocolate mousse and some fresh fruit.

*Service

*I have seen better, but I would still rate this as quite amongst the finest restaurants. The service was non intrusive, and staff was patient in explaining everything and helpful too.

Price

The Sunday brunch was priced at 699/-per head for the "drinks included" brunch menu and 399/- for the without drinks brunch menu. The a-la-carte rates(though I didnt pay much attention to it) seemed to be averaging between 200-300/- a dish for the Mediterranean menu.

Overall Impression I Loved the Place. I WILL DEFINITELY go again and again.
