The technological gimmicks, Lights, music make the show larger than life & it is truly an answer to US Broadway.
However, there was one noticeable issue, last time when I visited (in May 2014) Hussain was playing the lead role(Gypsy prince), & Gauhar Khan was not available for some reason.
This time (December 2014) when I went with my family to watch this much advertised musical play once again, I was disappointed to find Hussain is no more playing the character.
It is some other actor who is doing his part, & Gauhar Khan as usual remains unavailable(except showing up in the banners & hoardings outside).
I wish to voice out to the managers that it is something people crave for when they pay for huge amount of tickets & it looks awkward to see a surprisingly new face doing the stuff which best suits on the veteran actors.
Me & my family were all whistling & clapping while Zangoora made an entry, as soon as we realised it is not Hussain who we are wooing for, we all felt cheated.
How is the audience supposed to know who they are coming to watch.I am not happy to have spent thousands of bucks on show & food & travel all the way to see X, Y, Z performing a play which boasts of its success with big names in Entertainment industry.
With that said, no other issues, roles played by other actors are fine.
