With the good experience that I had ordering a reasonably expensive dining table(Evok brand), I ordered this product https://zansaar.com/comfort-couch-sofa-cum-bed-premium-off-white-p-MSCIRO114 and what an experience! The product arrives after 35 days after multiple follow ups. Then the courier delivers it and leaves it as it is for me to open it.
It was well packed with multiple pieces of wood held together by a large number of nails all over, not the professional ones that you normally see. After 2 hours of struggle I get the product out. ANd then I sat on it. You have to sit on it to believe how bad a sofa can be. I can feel EACH AND EVERY PIECE OF WOOD on my bottom. It has fabric which is so bad that you cannot use without further upholstery. And it was dirty. So I sent them a mail detailing all this and with photos. After 3 days someone calls me and then I explain all of it to him. He promises to call me back the next day.
No calls next day. The day after, he calls me again to tell me that the supplier says that there is coir and 4 inches of foam etc.etc. And he says he can’t understand why I am finding it uncomfortable on it. So I asked him to send someone to come and sit on it. A carpenter is supposed to come. I called and made noise today again, and they promised the carpenter would come tomorrow. Meanwhile I am sitting with a Rs. 24000 piece of whatever you want to call it. Scary. And I don’t want to talk about the side table that I ordered along with this. It was a Rs.2000 piece that you can buy off the road side for Rs.300 perhaps.
My advice to you is this. In case you are planning to buy a branded product from this site, perhaps you are ok. Otherwise, it is just outright cheating. I don’t think these guys check the quality of product before sending it to your place. And they have no systems to take back the product easily.
Very very disappointed. Not to mention the amount of time I have had to waste and the place that the sofa occupies in my home reminding me of the horrible mistake that I made
