Basically limited only to urban cities. But, as the tweets related to the channel and a few shows suggest, and also according to the channel authorities, a major section of urban women watch the shows telecasted by the channel ( though not all the shows of course ) . The shows of highest TRPs are the ones featuring Fawad Khan. Two dramas featuring Fawad Khan namely Zindagi Gulzar hai and Humsafar have been telecasted till now and these two dramas are the only ones to cross 1.0 TRP till now ( 1.2 TRP for zindagi gulzar hai and 1.4 TRP for humsafar ) .
Though it’s far behind the shows of other channels ( where shows like Diya and Bati hum had even crossed 10.0 TRP once and Kahani ghar ghar ki had all-time highest TRP of around 42.0) , still it’s a good sign for a new channel ( launched in the month of June 2014) . Moreover since the shows that are telecasted now on the zindagi channel are the ones which were already telecasted in Pakistan a few years/months back, hence as you can guess they are already available on YouTube.
Therefore many women who start loving the shows can’t wait for a whole long day for watching next episode, thus end up watching all the episodes on YouTube ( it doesn’t help the channel’s case either ) . But one thing is for sure, that the channel has given the Indian audience a dose of a different kind of tele-dramas, and though their numbers might not be very high, a section of Indian audience has become an ardent fan of these dramas. Moreover I would also like to add that since the reach of the channel is not much till now and since it features old Pakistani dramas which are already available on YouTube, hence it would not be fair to measure the popularity of the channel in terms of the TRPs gained.
