The Indian beauty to make it big in bollywood.

Hello Friends, Not many Beauty Queens have been able to make it BIG in Bollywood and the first lady to break this HYPOTHESIS was Zeenat Aman. A new AVATAR of Indian women on screen. Her presence used to set the screen on fire. Lets look more into her.... Personal Life: - Zeenat was born on November 19th, 1951. Her mother was Hindu while her father was a Muslim, well known as the writer of the writers for the classic ’’Mughal-e-Azam’’. Zeenat was an only child and her parents divorced when she was a little girl. Her father passed away when she was just 13.

A graduate of Saint Xavier’s school in Bombay, Zeenat won a scholarship to study in California. After returning she started working as reporter and was introduced to modelling by friends. Her most prominent ad campaign was the Pond’s 7 day to better complexion. Zeenat entered the Miss India contest and was the third runner up, to go to Miss Asia/Pacific a title she later won - being the first Indian to ever win that title Zeenat was introduced to the movie screen by O.P. Ralhan in Hulchul. Later she acted as a cameo in Hungama but bothe films sunk without trace. And then Hare Rama Hare Krishna happened, and then there was no looking back.

She overshadowed the reigning queen MUMTAZ. Nor had the Indian audience ever accepted a woman who played a ’less than pure’ role in a movie. Zeenat went on to revolutionise the Hindi film actress and even helped many Indian Actors, when they were still in the struggling phase. After a rise in her career again Zeenat married Mazhar Khan and was happily settled with her two sons Azhar and Azaan when fate played truant once again. Mazhar was ill with liver dysfunction and Zeenat spent all her savings for his treatment. The disease however was fatal. Mazhar Khan passed away.

What followed was five traumatic years when her in-laws defamed her in public, snatched her son and brainwashed him to the extent that he refused to back to his mother and even abused her. The world too believed her to be scheming and money minded who lost her husband due to callousness. What else then, she took a long break and when she returned it was too late, she had to satisfy herself with roles like in BOOM, but is that enough for the actress of her caliber.....
