The Revolution: Zen Z77
Hello All I brought zen z77 last month. Zen being a new company, I wasnt sure if the device can perform wat its website said .So I researched but not much was available around the web .I had doubts about after sales service but The phone’s looks forced me to give it a try .
So I bought it from a local dealer for a price a Rs @2700 . Tooo low for a qwerty phone.
I tried and tested each of its function and here is my review about them
Java While researching I found this common query after every review "Does this phone supports java app". Even I had the problem. The answer: Yes .Z77 supports a large no. of apps I hav tried many applications from calculators to chatting or emailing apps Snaptu also works . If anyone hav any problem with installation plz specify in comments. Zen Z77 does not support high end java games I guess the ram is slow for those 3d games but apps runs very smoothly .Nimbuzz doesnt work but u can install ebuddy with similar functions.Opera mini is preloaded and very quick with my aircel connection
U can also access Gprs on laptop using the device .Usb data manager is also available.It also supports POP/IMAP but I was not able to cofigure it.Apps can be downloaded through wap.
nterface interface is ok but some work is required as u need some extra clicks for some function but overall good
Multimedia It has a camera 2.0 mexapixel but quality is not at all good .Video recorder is useless as the videos look like a slide show rather than digital videos.Audio player is great with excellent clearity .Video playback is sluggish and lot of lagging is there but low resolution videos work good.
Overall a nice phone a totally a value for money . Hav a look at its pics
