I used Zenify’s services to get a flat in Bangalore, in Alpine Eco apartments, Mahadevpura. Some of the things that I didnt like about them as a customer are as follows, so just keep them in mind before you go ahead.
Unprofessional:Workforce is highly unprofessional and rude( which obviously you will realize when you plan to move out of the property provided by them).
Its a Scam: Be careful of the initial inspection they do before you move in; this is done to get your signature on a checklist which would say everything is spick and span(its a very lousy inspection). So make sure you note every tiniest thing that is not as expected, coz if you dont they will take it out from your pocket when you leave. Unlike the initial inspection the final inspection before you leave the property is very very detailed and they check every nook and cranny, so all the things you might have signed unknowingly in the beginning would be charged to you.
Beware the final repair Quote:Check the final repair quote bill in detail, for some small bathroom fittings they charged me like 6 times the actual market price. I have proof for the same, please get in touch with me if this seems like a bluff to you. When I raised the concern for the same they wouldnt reply.
Just as bad as any other broker:Apart of the above added headache, they provide a normal service that any broker would do without the hassle;(dont fall for the no brokerage trap). Dont expect them to show up for any issues that you might have with the property during your stay. I had to run around myself to gather all papers from the owner to get my club membership and car parking in the alpine eco clubhouse. They did not help me at all. AT ALL!
Religious about only one thing, yearly rent hike:There is no negotiation on the 10% increment of house rent each year. You have to pay it period. I am writing this point because generally in Bangalore, the landlords kind of relieve you of this hike if they think you are a trustworthy folk, as was the case with almost all my friends staying here and were directly paying the rent to their landlords. The most bizzarre part was that I did talk to my owner somehow and he had no info about any rent hike!
