I recently bought zero b pou water softener (it doesnt deserve to be written in capital letters...at least here)....& I’m really pissed off with my purchase. To highlight few of the things i hate this product for:
No clear indication whether it is oozing out softened water or not. In fact the prescribed test on its manual is ’soap lather test’. So you keep using different water sources, generate foam out of it & compare. They call it engineering, WOW...!!!
There is no alarm, indication whatsoever that regeneration (term for cleaning the water again) is required. Not that i didnt know this, but i certainly didnt realize there would be no clear cut way of knowing how good the water it is giving me.
Flow of normal pee can shame the output flow of this device. So you start water outlet from this device 10 minutes before you have to take bath (if you really want to bathe with its water) or wash you back (probably the best use for this water)
Not sure how treated the water is, but it is so slimy that you tend to believe you have had oil all over your body when you take bath with this water. It loses the sole purpose of this device to give treated water. You keep using water assuming soap is not wearing off.
It needs to be regenerated almost after 15 buckets of water ( bucket of avg size with around 15-20 lt capacity) with 400-500 gms of rock salt & every regeneration takes about 30 minutes.....so if you need to wash clothes with help of this device...you need to invest half of your day...until unless you have huge storage & great patience to store that kind of water with this pathetic device.
Service is okay, but they don’t have buyer’s remorse policy. So one you are stuck with this crap you have no escape.
Save yourself some money & Loads of frustration, DO NOT BUY THIS. Even for toilet use.
