I had opend my account with zerodha in April 2015.one of my friend referred me to save brokerage.Things went wrong are
1) while opening of account they delayed by 25 days resulting in opening of account late by month resulting in opportunity loss, they promised that account get open in 7 days but they didnt told that we cannot trade in cash segment.
2) People who are opening account are too young that they cant answer for query and forgot to call and tell how to resolve issue.basically unprofessional.
3) Same person who open account gives demo and while asking the techincal query he didn’t had any answer as he don’t know about pi software.
4) While lodging complain for non opening of account and not giving proper demo zerodha didn’t changed that person even after requsting.things were laggard during that period.
5)While using pi platform it stucked more then twice day.resulting in not executing orders at proper price.
6)phone lines are busy all the time resulting in loss in f&o counter by more then 5000.Zerodha is charging for calls which no other broker charge but service is poor.
7)they dont give margins on our shares which others give genrally by keeping good relation and good track record.
8)Mobile application have no features, it’s just basic tool to buy and sell, also while login the session get expired everyday thrice.You cant minimize application on your mobile or else you have to re-login.
9)Many studies are not added on their advance charting software i.e.pi
10) AMC couldn’t be waive off even after giving margin on opening of account.
Benifitial only if you are trading more then 2, 00, 000 because other brokers like ventura etc charges same upto these amount, there you can get additional margin so you can buy at time you want.
Traders get benefit under F&o counter, but as per my knowledge other brokerage house will negotiate on brokerage if you trade more but zerodha doesn’t.
Zerodha is developing but still many things needs to be change after that we can give 5 star rating.
Brokerage is not only concern while trading.
