CHEATER SNAPDEAL AND ZICOM.
I reside at Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat.
As I was going on a long vacation from 19.05.14 to 31.05.14, I wanted to secure my home from thieves etc. I searched the web for security system on the web. I found Zicom, a good product, but there was no dealer in my city. I found best rates on Snapdeal for the products so I called them for the item description. They told me to contact Customer Care No.s of Zicom. I called Zicom that I am living in Gandhidham a city in Kutch, Gujarat where no one dealer of there is located and can I install the product myself or otherwise and they replied that you can install the product yourself. If you need any help in installation, then you can call our technical team and they will assist you on telephone. So assured by their wordings, I had ordered from Snapdeal.com the whole security system named Zicom Alarm System Gold Kit+ Three Wireless Motion Sensors+ One Magnet Door Sensor totaling to Rs. 22, 355/-. My Snapdeal Order No was 2076055237. I received the above items on 15.05.2014. Since I was proceeding on vacation and I need the system badly, I tried to install the system. But to my surprise there was no “On” button / switch on the Main Unit ie. Zicom Alarm System Gold Kit. I called the Tollfree No. in the evening but nobody replied. On 16.05.14, after repeated calls, I became successful in contacting toll fee No. and technical team of Zicom, they told that you can not install the system yourself nor you can maintain it yourself. Our dealer will provide installation services at the charge of Rs.3000/- and you have to call them for any subsequent problem / trouble shooting.
It was quite shocking for me because there was no dealer in my area and I had to depend on their outsider dealer / temporary engineer for whole life for maintenance of the security system. So I called Snapdeal and dais that I want to return this product due to above reasons. Snapdeal Consumer support team clearly refused citing their return policy.
Since I was proceeding on vacation, I requested them to keep my complaint pending. However, they refused again citing their return policy. Thus, Zicom is selling their products through Snapdeal fraudulently. Snapdeal is also appears to be indulged in this practice. Thus, Zicom and Snapdeal both are Cheater and fraud. Stay away from them.
SNAPDEAL ONLY WANTS TO SELL ITEMS. THEY DON’T TAKE IT BACK EVEN IF THE CUSTOMER HAS SUFFERED DUE TO THEIR OWN DEALER [ZICOM IN MY CASE]. STAY AWAY FROM SNAPDEAL AND ZICOM. YEBHI.COM, FABFURNISH.COM ARE MUCH BETTER. THEY NEVER HARASS THEIR CUSTOMERS.
