Beware of what you speak

Zinda is different movie in many ways..

1) Most of the movies speak about love, but Zinda is about hatred from the word go. Its the extremity of hatred. Rohit Chopra’s (John) hatred and hunger for revenge is absolute..

2) I have never seen such a thirsty and intense revenge saga. Zinda is the extremity of revenge.

3) The movie does not have any masala items you will see in a normal Bollywood movie..like colourful songs or comedy. The movie is just to the point - how a small mistake can trigger a dangerous revenge

Alive....yes just about alive..Balajeet Roy(Sanjay Dutt) is only just alive after being locked up in a cell and he does not why and for how long he is going to remain there....Through the TV in the cell he comes to know that his wife has been murdered and he has been framed for it...and then after 14 yrs he is set free.

Out into this world and fully prepared to hunt the person who did this to him and to find out why he did it. Rohit Chopra (John) who imprisoned Bala is ready to face him and infact leads Bala to him. Now the game turns 2 ways ...Bala seeking revenge against Rohit and in turn Rohit seeking revenge against Bala..

Who will win..is it really about winning... and to find out the reason why Bala was locked up you need to see Zinda.

Some scenes deserve a special mention

1) The scene where Sanjay Dutt comes to see the person who runs the cell.

The owner of the cell tells ’Kya karu Dhanda hai..nothing personal’ . That scene really sends chill down your spine. How ruthless the world can turn out be

2) The Last confrontation scene between John and Sanju, is a real winner. The way Sanju begs John not to involve his daughter and the way John kills himself for his revenge saying ’See you in Hell’

Sanjay Dutt plays the character of Balajeet Roy deftly especially in the emotional scenes. John Abraham is so so..He needs to improve especially in the last scenes when he tells Sanjay about his daughter, he clearly goes over board. Every scene and characterisation of this movie is so believable and is indeed very well made by Sanjay Gupta.

Go See this movie...because this is a movie with international standards..definitely
