ABOUT THE ORIGINAL STORY-OLDBOY(2003/Nov21-released)
I saw Korean flick OLDBOY just few months back... a great movie of pain .. and long time vengeance ..a pure Asian revenge movie. A personal system of self imprisoning a person somewhere in the streets of seol for 15 years.. and after getting out from prison.. a girl helps him out to find who was doing all this to him since fifteen long years... and finally comes to know that he was brother of his school time girl friend, where she commits suicide and dies. Taking revenge on him as once he was responsible for the death of his loving sister. And Not only the plot of the of the movie but the interesting method of presenting screenplay ... hangs our mind.. I was in a hangover for more than 2/3 days after watching this korean flick....realy mind blowing and amazing.. The extreme and most violent treatment taking self justice in hands.
NOW ABOUT OUR OLDBOY aka ZINDA
such a brilliant movie SANJAY GUPTHA spoiled .our directors are not even perfect in lifting the subjects or at least can’t even make the films as it is .. The film shot by shot scene by scene shooted with out any modifications leaving behind teh navtive feelings. Even the story of the film is set somewhere in BANKOK. Sanjay dutt with his loving wife celina jaitly will be leaving a peacfull life ... when she gets pregnancy her husband disappears all of suddenly leaving no information .sanjay is imprisoned by some unknown person later raveled as JHON ABHRAM... and he torches sanjay for 14 years .. setting him all comforts in a single room .. john even kills his loving wife after giving birth to a baby. (where in original film father haves sex with his daughter without knowing the truth that she is his daughter. hided by villain, The father can’t bear and creis why he gave this sought of punishment for him..) but here there is no such ... shoking twist for sanjay dutt. Jhon Abraham after feeling that he has take revenge on the guy how was responcible for the death of his sister jumps out from the building in between the fight with sanjay .. not much useful with this sought of films......

MY view..
Though it can’t bring revolutionary change in indian cinema.. themes ... a more contemporary dramas are much needed... as most of teh films being made these days or Adopted/copied/straight lift/inspired...etc . once again all the makes please go through the indian history... from ancient times to right today... there are lakhs of incidents.. lakhs of theams... lakhs of original motivations... lots of happned issues in front of eyes... inspire thought them rather watching a 2/3 hour DVD at homes...
