Sanjay Gupta aka Sanjay`DVD`Gutpa, who is very well known for his copyrights act in Bollywood then his Direction. Even ZINDA is no different; it is a copy of a Korean film `OLD BOY` (courtesy media).
But anyways you cannot blame him alone, even other well know film directors and music director do copy or in other words they say that they were inspired.
ZINDA – Movie is based on VENGENCE. Its a very stylish movie, fabulous background music, cinematography is also excellent , and best scene of the movie is the chase sequence by Sanjay Dutt which is worth watching the movie is pacy and has been well maintained till the end and has been very well shot, totally in Bangkok by Sanjay Gupta.
I don’t want me to narrate the story to you’ll, as you’ll must have already gone through the good reviews given by my other friends on mouthshut.com, which are very good.
But if you are week hearted or over sensitive person, I won’t recommend you the movie though its not a horror movie but some scene are really bloody and violent like Sanjay Dutt plunging electric drills into one of the captors to get a confession and extracting the teeth one by one of the captors with split end of the hammer, cutting off a hand, chopping off an arm all the shots which look very real and can discomfort you. But to be frank the movie doesn’t has the mass appeal.
But if you want to watch this movie, watch it for two commendable performances from Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham. Sanjay Dutt is a good actor and there is no doubt about it, as he has given a powerful performance in this movie after VASTAV, but John has surprised everybody by his stunning performance in this movie as you can see he has shown maturity in his acting after JISM and off course Sanjay `DVD` Gupta for his stylishly shot directions.
I recommend this movie only to Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham fans, and I am one of them.
