’Yeh hai meri kahani’ from the movie ’Zinda’ has been aired on the TV channels. I listened to it in MTV and the song ROCKS!!!!! The song is prominently sung by Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood from Pakistani band, Strings, and has Dutt mouthing a few lines with John Abraham doing a voiceover
Sanjay Gupta strikes again with a innovative campaign for his latest movie Zinda, starring the Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Lara Dutta, Celina Jaitley and Mahesh Manjrekar, is a song-less thriller, but the film’s audio album features songs sung by Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham. The movie is set to release on Jan 13th, 2006.
However the video that has been shot in an old recording studio in black and white, will have no film visuals. The noteworthy part about the song is that it doesn’t feature any visuals from the film and solely concentrates on the song that features both the lead actors from the movie - Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham.
John has done a gr8 job in delivering the words on musical cues and beats, and our Sanju bhai does an impeccable job with the drums! Kudos to the two lead actors who have put in excellent efforts.
Also from sources, there is another track, Kabhi muskurana, a solo number, which Sanjay has co-composed with music directors Vishal and Shekhar. This is the 3 rd time he does it for the director Sanjay Gupta, whose previous movies are Kaante & Musafir. And DJ Nikhil Chinappa, along with a team of musicians from London, is remixing and reproducing a club version of individual tracks….
