All around pathetic service. I have my site hosted on Google sites and use CNAME method to call the site from my domain. I wanted my naked domain to be redirected to my www subdomain. A simple 301 redirect which is the least to be expected from a hosting company. Guess what? It doesn’t work. I emailed their support team to help me fix it. Guess what, they removed all CNAME entries rendering my site useless. They then added 2 A type records. One forwarding my domain to the www sub domain. The second forwarding the www subdomain to the naked domain. This created a loop! Basis 101 for domain admins. Pathetic pathetic pathetic. I am going to transfer to GoDaddy as soon as the 60 day lock is over.
