Well, I used to love their promptness when I needed to buy something(Domain/Hosting). Gave them rave reviews at their website https://blog.znetindia.com/a-happy-client.html
Now I regret doing that. Call it my naiveness, I dint know untill it hit me, and hit me hard.
I started my business(Website Development, etc) in January 2011. Slowly slowly I started building it up. Started companion website https://tallydev.com(Using Wordpress) for providing Tally Customization service. Started running advertisments for my website. I started getting clients, but what happened? My website was shutdown by them because it was using high resources.
Ok, I accepted my guilt. Thought, must be some rogue code got into it. Downloaded all the files and database and started testing on my computer. Fixed all the bugs by activating wp-debug= true. I dint allow even a single notice for my website. Installed the latest version of wordpress(3.2.1), installed only those plugins which were compatible with that, again manually fixed all the debugging notice. After that, installed W3 Total Cache to cache the website so that it dont bother Znet Servers.
My website never attracted more than 100 visits per day. But, even that couldn’t be handled by them.
They shut down my website and my business. I was in the middle of co-ordinating 50-100 people for jobs. I dont know how they are going to communicate back to me. They dint even let me know by SMS/Phone before shutting my website down. However, if you buy something from them, they will be prompt in sending SMS. What an Irony.
They wouldn’t help you find the problem and fix it. How would you know what’s ailing your application which is so trustworthy(Wordpress) and is being used by over 25 million websites.
I had even considered buying VPS hosting from them(Ticket ID - 430655). But no more. I WONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZNET INDIA, NEITHER I WOULD RECOMMEND MY FRIENDS OR CLIENTS TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I would also suggest you to stay away from them. Or. stay with them if you really want to ruin your business if it is dependent on Internet/Website.
This is the second time my users will be denied access to my website because they shut it down. My website’s name is ruined, and so is the brand name I was building slowly and steadily.
Lessons learnt with Znet:
I will never do any business with ZNetIndia
If my business is dependent on my website, I will never host it on a shared server.
