After a year long tough time with my Domain registrar cum hosting provider Znetindia ( https://znetindia.com) I finally decided to move on. Initial two years was indeed trouble free. Last year it was full of web server outages, unavailability of DNS / Database management. Some sort of problem keep peeping every two weeks.
The worst and the irritating experience was the sort of irrelevant political replies from their customer support. All this trouble was for a paid developer edition of hosting! I came across Limehosting which provided free hosting and had all the features required for my requirement. Indeed some features were better than paid Znet hosting.
A still worse thing with Znet was when I requested for domain secret the function too did not work. When I raised a request they kept questioning why I wanted to move though I gave them, enough reasons. Finally based on some mouthshut review I raised an issue with their domain supplier publicdomainregistry.com. Publicdomainregistry promptly responded and I used the key to transfer to lime domains.
I see many people praise their customer support. But I would ask them to rethink why problem should arise at all. It was really horrible experience for me to keep raising tickets every two weeks for some issue or other.
In worst cases I even have to raise tickets even daily when there were very frequent outages and wait for them to fix. When complained about the UPTIME they always replay the ’issue is fixed’ only to see my website not available the very next day. In the last few months I think thought they fixed these issues.
But again issues started like not able to manage DNS or file mager not available.There are better hosting providers for the equivalent price
