I have been ordering foods online since the past 5 years, but no other food service has disappointed me as Zomato. The image of Zomato in India’s market holds a positive position and yhw the twitter account of zomato makes sure to gain the spotlight either by sarcasm, humor or controversy.
Once I had some guest at my place and I ordered lunch for my guests at appropriate time that the food may reach my place before the lunch. The zomato timer showed 35 mins and it kept on showing 20 mins after 1: 40 hrs. I couldn’t express my embarrassment, I was ashamed in front of my guests. I kept on calling zomato service but none of them had answers, they asked me to be patient. And at one point they stopped replying back.
If you are laying your trust on zomato then please don’t. I will suggest you to contact the restaurant directly and ask them to deliver the food rather than using zomato for the service.
