I aishwaryasingh23ed for a chicken biryani from zomato on 17-10-2018 and then I got a call from the delivery guy saying its raining and it at-least takes 90 minutes to reach me from the restaurant and asked me to cancel my order and book again.
I asked him how he said I will get a call from zomato than ask them to cancel and place another order from a nearby restaurant I said ok.
A guy from zomato called me and asked do you want to cancel your order I said ok than he just disconnected my call right away.
I got confused and started chatting with zomato guys on app and said I was waiting for refund or another replacement order from nearby restaurant they said it is not possible as I cancelled my order no refund or no re-booking is possible and even said that the order was at my door step and I cancelled it myself and they cant help me or call me I need to complain at order@zomato.com I did that also but no response .
A really extraordinary technique used by zomato employees to loot people like me.
Please guys dont book on zomato its the worst online experience for me.
