I recently used the newly launched offer from Zomato that stated 50% off when ordered online for the first time. Here are some great details that can help you:
Zomato says 50% off but when u order it only gives you cash on delivery option where you cannot use this 50% off. Complete lie!
When I called the so called+91 8375 07xxxx from my North India Zone guess what the number is switched off. So Zomato launches ordering online offer and goes Zzzzzzzzzzzz on the first day of its launch.
Via Zomato, I ordered from Biryani Blues, Super Mart, Gurgaon, Supermart, DLF Phase 4 This is clearly the case of Flavor that has reached ARROGANCE. Its not just today that this happened. I stay at a stone throw’s distance from the restaurant, ordered a chicken Gravy, Biryani and 2 Naan’s & had to wait for 1.5 hrs to have this delivered to my house.
To add to this, the person picking up the phone has told me time and again that my order is so small that we don’t care. I agree its one of the good Biryani’s available, but now the flavor and the money has got to their heads.
I equally have Zomato to blame which I would separately on Mouth Shut. New startups, who think that they can rule the world just by getting investors are in a huge misunderstanding that they can actually do it. Investor confidence only run’s deep as customer satisfaction. So take this as a warning call .
So happy Chicken Biryani’s to both of you! So net net both Zomato and Biryani Blues gave an hungry soul such a thought time not once but several times that Im never ordering from either of them ever again! Think twice before you order. You may get to hear."Aapka order itna koi bada nahin hai"
