We hired XUV for one day return trip to Mumbai on 12th Nov. It was my 1st experience with Zoom Car, Being self driven car I was happy to drive big car and entire family was together to travel.
But the problem started right in the morning when car arrived at home.
o Two tyres were totally warned out to the extent that no threads available on the tyres.
o Car was neither washed from outside nor cleaned up inside. It was totally dusty.
o Third row seats were totally damage; unfortunately we were 7 passengers so there was no option to use the damaged seat.
o There was no engine heat indicator on dash board.
o Remote locking was not working.
o There was no single key locking. I had to lock both the front doors independently to ensure the car is locked.
o Person who dropped the vehicle simply raised the hands and said that there is no other vehicle, take it or leave it Else inform call centre.
o This incidence happened at 7 am. But till 10 am there was no one at call centre to attend the call.Think if you met with an accident what will happen.
Finally after reaching to call centre executive at 10 am and explaining entire situation he told that senior team will contact you in 15 minutes. Even after one hour no one called.
So I gave reminder call to call centre.But again the same promise of 15 mins was made, But this time I insisted to speak to senior person. Mr. X came on line and initially denied the fact that it cant be possible But when I threatened that I’ll left the car in Mumbai he told me to share the photos to enquire further.
However Zoom car refuse to replace the car, Zoom car said if you are so concern about the tyre quality get it replaced with your own money, and get it reimbursed from zoom car.
Mr. X never came on phone again after repeated calls, There was no remedial action from Zoom car as they already got the money in advance.
When we drove back to home in night it was realised that Head lamp dipper was not working.
Finally we reached home at 11pm but there was no call from Zoom car’s so called 24x7 support team.
Our entire tour was spoiled by Zoom car, due to tension that will the car reach safely.
Zoom car has no right to play with passenger’s life like this. Is the passengers travelling in car are insured by zoom car.They only knows
BE AWARE guys.If you hire vehicle from zoom car please please inspect the entire car in and out before taking delivery and mention the same on check sheet you sign before taking delivery, Because very 1st reaction from zoom car senior team was, Why you took delivery? Have you mentioned all the points in check sheet you signed? So rather than solving the problem they were trying to ensure their position is safe for the future.
Overall it was worst experience with zoom car not even giving them single star.
