This time I booked an XUV 500 for 2 days 1 night. The pick up time was 10 am from the Vile Parle Domestic Airport, but the same car was assigned to 2 different people. So they told me to wait as the car while another XUV 500 was coming for me from Nariman Point. Fortunate enough that there was less traffic so the car reached in 1 hour. However they took 15-20 minutes to clean the car and complete the formalities so we started our trip at 11:30 am. Due to late start we experienced traffic on our way, reached our destination late and the entire schedule for the remaining day was ruined.
There was total disconnect between the customer service and the people at the Vile Parle site. They asked me to call the customer service to complain. The customer service registered my complain and confirmed that I would receive a call from their end within 15 minutes, but havent received any call till date. I told them I want to understand how is the same car assigned to different people but they did not have any idea on what is the process neither did they gave me assurance on resolving it. Multiple times I asked the customer service to escalate my complain but in vain. They did not give any contact person name or Email ID who could help me.
The Vile Parle site people were very helpful. They constantly kept coordinating with the Nariman Point office and tracking the car.
Last time I used Zoomcar, they had refunded some money for early return, but now that policy is changed as well.
I think next time onwards I will have to look for other companies that provide self - driven cars.
