Update: Its been more than 2 weeks and they havent refunded my amount - please drop a mail to me rahulgolwalkar@gmail.com if you fall in the same category and we can file a consumer complaints case against Zoom Cars
PS: do not rely on the assurance their customer support provides!
They list 10 times more cars than they actually have.
tl;dr.
we booked Creta 2 months in advance for 6 days with home delivery at 5:30 am
4 days prior - they say - Creta was not available - so they moved it to a smaller car Nexon
4 hours prior they message Nexon not available only Maruti swift available:-| - it is xmas time . I thought something is better than nothing
1 hour post-delivery time no one calls and I get frustrated . we had all ooty bookings done . I was in touch with the useless customer support who couldnt pmit with the ground staff
eventually I end up at the zoom car ground near Ulsoor lake . they say that they do not have a functioning car at all. either key is not there or they dont have a form 47 or what not crap.
after haggling here and there with support and ground staff . they just cancelled my booking without even asking .
I still have the horrid memories of that time when I couldnt sleep for the whole night as well as our trip was slaughtered .
its been more than 1 week since that day and I still havent got my money back .
I was not the only one at the Ulsoor car lot . there were more than 20 other people just like me
If they are going to do an IPO, I would definitely want to short on their stocks
