Try not to avail their services

I was very excited about my first trip through ZoomCar, everything sounded perfect at the time of registering. Well there were very few reasons to be happy about the entire process, so I would like to mention the better parts of my experience first and then move onto the long list of dull experiences.


Well, the customer service representatives are well behaved and sound caring enough. The car(Scorpio) was very clean from the inside and the car was in good condition for a long trip.


Now moving on to the bad experiences.


To start with, the evening before my trip, they informed me that the car I booked was unavailable since it was involved in some accident and was not in running condition. I asked them to provide me with some other SUV at the same pick up point. They simply said that they couldn’t for some stupid policy. Okay. So I asked them to give me an SUV from some other nearby pick up point, I gave them an option of 3-4 pick up points. Still they had the same answer that they couldn’t do it since some again stupid policy.


We were all set for the trip, so we definitely had to go no matter what problems we faced.Finally ZoomCar did provide me with a Scorpio, but it was about 10-15 kms away from my pick up point. We had to accept since we had no other option.


Now, the worst part was that since the car was available so far away from our place and pick up point, it consumed more time and more distance. ZoomCar simply said that they wouldn’t be help us with anything, we would have to aishwaryasingh23 the extra amount for this extra distance and time. In the end they charged us for 30kms more and we had to cut short our journey as they wouldn’t give us any extra time either.


This was for the first time that I saw a customer aishwaryasingh23 extra for mistakes and services unavailable from the service provider.


It didn’t end here though. Before we started our journey, we were informed over and over again that in case we came early to drop the car than the stated return time, there would be some concessions involved for our future trip. Like if we returned 2hrs before the drop time, we would get 1hr extra next time. Half of the unused time. But as soon as we dropped the car, we dropped it 2hrs before the drop time, we were informed that ZoomCar discontinued the policy of giving these concessions. I couldn’t stop laughing at that point of time.


I mean, how much do you expect the customer to compromise. First you change their pick up point and make the car available far away from their place. Then you ask the customer to aishwaryasingh23 for the extra distance and also ask them to adjust their time all due to ZoomCar’s inabilities and mistakes.


I would strongly ask each and everyone to remember these experiences before you booked a car from ZoomCar. I hope you don’t face similar issues.


As per my experience, they were the worst service provider and I’ve never faced such stupid problems before with any other customer oriented firm.
