I was waiting to book a Safari and invited my friends from Delhi/Kolkata to Bangalore for long weekend trip. I booked Safari for 4 days and planned to go to a hill station nearby Bangalore.
They gave me that Safari, new Safari and its servicing was due. That car was having serious issues with wheel balancing as soon as I hit the highway, I was having trouble driving that car in more that 70 km hour speed. I called zoom car support.
They said get it fixed and well repay u the cost. It was midnight 1 am. Somehow I managed to reach my first destination there I couldnt find any service center, so I need to park that in hotel and need to take local taxi as I cannot take risk with that car in the mountains. I had to cancel my following program as I cannot take that car further. Also it was not enjoying if you go in taxi. Also because of that pain full drive holding stating toward right gave me big neck pain.
So I had cancel my trip and came same night to Bangalore and return back to zoom. They said this is brand new car such issue should not happen with this. Also they did not clear my account till I asked them. I spoke to operation manager and he did same. told me hell get back to me. But no called back for few days and just they refunded one day rent.
I paid for 4 days and I came back in two days because of that car I spent more in local taxi also spoiled my trip. my friends came from far were unhappy. I posted this on their Facebook page and they deleted that post. I wrote post twice and they deleted twice. This shows how they are hiding their failure case and mismanagement. I travel a lot at least 3 times in a month and I was looking for such facility of renting car. But I will not recommend this to anyone. If you want to spoil your trip you can trust Zoomcar.
