I had booked a Honda Jazz between 1st Sep to 3rd Sep. I had a few issues with the booking and also after closing the trip.
- Booking:
1.1. I wanted to book a co-driver for the trip. I provided the email-id of the co-driver. We logged into the email-id of the co-driver and found a mail from Zoomcar. Opened the mail and it said to click on a link. I clicked on the link and it created a new profile. I uploaded the driver license. I wasnt able to find a way to link the co-driver!
1.2. There isnt any option in the mobile related to adding a co-driver.
Customer Support: There isnt any contact number in the website to contact Zoomcar. I had some queries, but I couldnt find a phone number to contact and get all my queries answered. I was "forced" to book the car, without having my queries sorted out!.
At the time of booking, Zoomcar published the cost for all the available cars. Based on the availability, I had picked the Honda Jazz for 7550/-. On the left hand part of the website, it showed 3 options "Zoomcar Classic" with 270Kms free. I assumed that for the 3 day period, my cost is 7550/- and out of that Zoomcar is giving 270Kms free. When I closed the trip(ran out 690Kms), Zoomcar indicated that I had to pay an extra 5040/-! This morning I went through their FAQ and found out that they are 10km /hour as free and they indicated that for a 3 days journey, 690Kms will be free. I was within this 690Kms, but they in total took 13K from me.
On the whole, I dont feel good about this company and its intention. it doesnt have a clean business ethics as a core policy.
