I had to take a 65 Y old, German friend on a visit to Mysore from Bangalore. He visited india for the first time and was very excited.... We had to start at 5 PM. Below was my experience with the Zoomcar which was delivered to us and u can decide for yourself the PATHETIC state of service and quality of this company:
The person who delivered the car knew Not a single word of English or Hindi!
He told me it’s a petrol car...when i checked the RC, shockingly it turned out to be a diesel car
The car was the dirtiest car that I had ever seen in my whole life... Full of mud and sand (some photos attached)
By 5:30 pm, When I complained, they apologized and said they will send a better car by 6 pm
By 6:15 pm they call again and ask me to go in the given zoom car to their nearest stand (45 mins away) and chose a better car... The fuel status of the current zoom car was almost NIL!!
After a long argument, I am refunded my zoomcar booking amount
I book an Ola with chauffeur for 2 + days at lesser the price than Zoom and finally manage to depart at 7:30 pm, 2.5 hrs late
I had an extreme headache due to this Zoomcar episode which continued for the whole of next day worsened by sleep deficiency.
In short, Zoomcar royally screwed up my whole short vacation!!!
I wish there was a negative star rating..
