Zoom is an American communication technology company founded by Eric Yuan. It provides its user’s video telephony and is a peer to the peer software platform for teleconferencing and distance education. Zoom app has been burning topic in recent times due to coronavirus pandemic. Due to the state lockdown, each country is laying stress on online and distant education and work from home concept. Zoom app concept and functionality is good, it provides features far more than other apps like google meet provide but has privacy issues. I have divided this review into pros and cons.
Concept -
Zoom has a unique concept and provides a great and vast number of features that its competitors can not provide.
Pros-
Great concept and initiative.
Wide numbers of features, such as background change, muting oneself and etc.
less laggy and Good stream quality.

Cons-
Great privacy threat, it is been in news for a while that zoom app is selling its data to Chinese companies, and above all that there has been hacking in the streams and more. The government has also asked people to stop using the zoom app has it possesses a threat to user privacy.
Not so user friendly, with lots of features comes lots of tech work which is pretty tough for a normal user and first-time user
Hacking into streams and Data leak is common.
The way people are broadcasted is weird. So many people on one screen is been presented.
My Personal Experience-
The started using zoom app as it was recommended by my school for online classes during the lockdown. After some time the school switched to google meet which is still pretty in the development stage and not advanced as zoom app is and most importantly the security threat as posted by news and media made people fear Zoom.
It is in the news that the Zoom app leaks government meetings to Chinese hackers and officials and it is not secure.
Alternatives -
Alternatives to zoom app are pretty good i.e there is google meet which I have reviewed earlier and we have skype. I suggest users do not use the zoom app.
Conclusion-
Zoom app is also overpriced in my view. And free service in not up to the mark. Further Concluding my review I want to say my all the viewers to do not use the zoom app cause it a great threat to user privacy and also request the Zoom team to look into this matter and secure their networks and build the lost user and critics trust. Zoom app has been voted 4 marks by me in the field of concept cause the concept is good.
