Good for shopping, only if you know what to buy

I have so far placed three orders on the website and have been a satisfied customer all the 3 times, by and large. Here is my genuine feedback as a customer:


Positives:




  1. Prices are good. That is, not only do they give discount on MRP, they discount it further through their 10% discount. This is good really.




But the further discount coupon did not work when I tried to use it on 31st October after using it on 28 October. I did not place the order on 31st October as the coupon code did not work.




  1. Free home delivery, with no minimum order value(I assume its introductory offer)




  2. Delivered as and when promised during the chosen delivery slot.




  3. Very smooth talking delivery man. Very well behaved and carried an ID proof too. Its also good.




  4. Delivered the free product with the original product as mentioned on the package. Its expected, but still I had a doubt if they would deliver it or not. Hence mentioning it here.




  5. The packaging date on all the branded products was quite latest. I also bought potato and tomato and they were fresh as well.






Negatives:




  1. The biggest drawback of this website/app is that you will be able to buy a branded product only if you know the product beforehand. That is they don’t give you an image of the packaging-label which mentions the contents of the product. One has to actually go to a brick-and-mortar store to check it with the risk of forgetting it later on. I mean while buying branded food products, one should have access to what is contained inside, right? Its more required in food products like edible oil.




Here is an example: Its like Flipkart never used to provide the back images of the mobile phones about 3 years ago, till the time I raised the issue. I asked if’Google’ is written on the back panel for an Android phone(like on Nexus phones), and then they started giving the back images of the phones.


Customers look forward to try new products and for a complete shopping experience, the contents should be visible properly on the online shopping website. This is really expected and this is one big benefit of online shopping.


This is a big big turn off for me. I suggest they start working on this aspect immediately.




  1. The app is not exactly smooth. Like, to scroll a product line, one needs to click on the arrow on either ends, rather than clicking and then dragging on the products in the middle. I assume they are still developing on this. Not a big turn off, but still it would be better if they make it more smooth.




  2. The website is also not that’professional looking’ or’mature’, and looks like a work by someone who is still fine tuning their designing skills. Looks like a work of a youth. The cart shows at the bottom, which is not exactly pleasing to the eyes.




  3. Also the technical specifications are missing on several products. I was searching for storage containers and there were listings which did not mention the capacity of the container in that listing.




  4. Throughout my all 3 orders, I never felt the confidence to use online payment. I simply chose COD. Don’t know why so.






Conclusion:


Despite the negatives mentioned above by me, I am still willing to continue with them because I got some good offers on the products through them.


This is a genuine feedback as on 1st November and will be updating this in future as and when required.
