With maximum hits on YouTube, this movie automatically made it to my must-watch-flicks list. Yo Yo Honey Singh coming in after a long gap and this being his much awaited debut movie, has literally created the frenzy in his fans. I can tell that because I felt it in the auditorium, whole buzz of excitement. He is no more a rapper but now a Brand name. Gosh! How someone can have so many fans in such a short span!
The action-thriller Punjabi movie shows Yo Yo(Zorawar Singh) in solder’s uniform, definitely he has taken on it like a second skin. Tough for most of the first-timers to pull it off, but he did that with all the hunkiest grace. He dons this look(with two guns in the poster) because he is an Indian Special Agent who is searching for his father, though the father is assumed to be dead. His search begins with only a name, Samarjit Singh, which takes him to Durban. There he hears that his long lost father was killed by a don Sangram Singh. This news came to him through a police officer, Tejinder Singh who makes him an undercover agent and somehow makes pass into Sangram’s gang. Zorawar is full of vengeful thoughts the first time he sees Sangram and little does he know that.(no spoilers, please watch this).
This movie director Vinnil Marken has used Yo Yo as a Brand and as movie was finished quite early, the trailers got more response and clicks only making this a much awaited flick. Yo Yo is playing the lead with actresses Gurbani Judge and Parul Gulati. Bani is definitely seen in a different avatar, really suits her for a change and Parul has small screen appearance but makes most out of it. Music is again done by Yo Yo Honey Singh and viewers most fav songs were Superman(saw people doing sing-alongs) and grooving to Raat Jashan Di. Totally fun and frolic times.
The story doesn’t hold much but Zorawar is a sumptuous treat for Honey Singh’s fans and people who love a good Punjabi flick then this has to be your weekend movie goal.
All the Honey Singh fans, don’t you miss the chance.watch this Lungi Dance singer in a soldier’s look because that doesn’t happen every day.
