Just an update - the handset speaker started working again. All i did was use the headset provided (as I didn't want people to listen in on the conversations when I use the speaker phone) and then when I removed it, the handset speaker was alive! I think somehow (I have not used the headset at all u read more...
Yes indeed, it is the E71. It could just be my bad luck, but I have seen reports of other people having similar problems. So, I still think overall the quality is not there. Besides, their service time shouldn't be so long which irks me no end.
