I'm attracted to the night and the aesthetics which pertain to it. For me, such characteristics are often manifested through art, music and words of the darkest kind. It's part of my lust for life and life is painful. However, I also maintain a biting sense of humor - albeit a black one - which usually keeps things fairly balanced :-)
I'm interested in meeting others whose ideas or insights dovetail with mine in any way. Am really into rock n roll of many varieties (punk, rock, new wave, metal, etc).

Guitar (I've played for 12 yrs), film, friends (my real ones know who they are), my spouse, songwriting (nothing makes me feel better than finding the perfect words, chords and melody united as one), Tennis (boxing without blood) underground music/art/culture, politics, urban studies, geography, philosophy, anthropology, Latin America, INDIA, Turkey, Pakistan, Iceland, Iran, Russia, world history, ancient civilizations, more. In sum, many things interest me.
Some activities I esp like:
Traveling both near and far, songwriting, creating art (I can't draw but I do some badass collages), reading good books ( sometimes these are hard to find), seeing bands (esp dark/evil punk/rock/goth/metal), sports and hanging out with people who matter to me.
