Hi, your battery is a sealed gel unit, very advanced and safe. Sometimes it can take two goes to get it started, but remember you have a new and tight engine. Economy should improve as well. Sorry, I didn't mean to upset Suzuki GN250 owners. It is the best selling bike here in NZ.
