Why don't you wait till Jan 2010 when the new TVS Wego 110cc should be out? This is the only gearless in the sub 125cc category that has both its front and back wheels of 12' diameter. This should translate into a somewhat smoother ride than either the Access or the Aviator.

Do you know what is the idea of having only the front wheel disc and the rear wheel drum? I would think the rear wheel is as important as the front, because at normal speeds if the rear wheel gets locked, one is sure to go for a toss. Whereas the front wheel getting locked is dangerous only at very read more...

The place honda scores over other vendors is in the quality control of its products. But they don't seem to have a proper research section that studies what the consumer really wants. The combined brake may only be useful for novices as it as it would be better to have independent braking system t read more...

Honda is all set to introduce a new Activa variant. Again a stop gap measure. No real changes. No front fueling like the Flyte. No telescopic shocks like the new scooters. Looks are poor. A cross between the newer Access and the old Activa. Engine is 109cc. Perhaps the only thing new is the combined read more...

    Honda Aviator
    Apr 10, 2008

If rumours are to be believed, Honda had lined up a fuel-injection 125cc scooter but the strike at gurgaon put them off track. To counter Suzuki's fuel-injection 125cc scooter to be introduced in 2007, they came up with a stop gap arrangement -the Aviator. Suzuki in the meanwhile finding that Hond read more...

It appears that Honda was caught on the wrong foot with the Flyte and Access being introduced and came up with a knee jerk reaction called the Aviator. Honda tried to gain on the mileage and engine cc concessions and hence stuck to the 100cc engine. The main difference between the Activa and the read more...
