Today, I was going through some old photos and I came across one of me as a child, crouched on the floor, glued to the TV. The picture on the screen took me straight down memory lane to the Bournvita Quiz Contest times. The age-old favorite that had me and every other kid glued to the TV for that one hour on Sundays, was it? I can’t seem to remember what day the show was on! But why is that? It's because somebody decided that the show wasn't worth it. If someone had to ask me even today, I would say that the BQC was clean, wholesome fun packaged to educate kids. Plus, no one had to MAKE me watch it – I loved it. As opposed to “studying”. I miss that fresh, non-nonsense approach. When can we have more of Derek and his questions?
