Nowadays we commonly hear this phrase "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer". We hear many stories about poor people. But how many of us actually take an initiative to help poor people.

I watched a movie "Traffic signal" . I came to a conclusion that a poor can afford to buy any thing that a rich or upper-middle class can buy. Beggers have bed, T.V, mixers, grinder,etc. I have come across some of the beggers who own a flat. But they still prefer to say at zhopadpattis(huts). Reason being they want to make more money by giving their flat on rent. Smart beggers huh!!

We don't mind spending a rupee or 2 on beggers. But these people fool us by gaining our sympathy.

I was waiting at Nerul station near the ticket counter. And a small kid( 3-4 years) approached to me. He was begging for money. But I thought not to give money to him. I took him to a food stall, asked him what he would like to eat. He could not understand my language.So I bought a Veg Grilled sandwitch for him. He was so hungry that he gulped a whole Sandwitch in 3 4 bites and finished it off in few minutes.He was hungry. So I took a watermelon juice and gave it him. That is how I helped a poor guy. That is my way of helping.

By spending a rupee or two for beggers doesnt really help them. We make them by begger by doing so. They easily make money by begging from hundreds of people.

So guys help the needy people. Help them by providing food or clothes.But make sure that they don't fool you by gaining sympathy from you.
