This so called maid providing agency is run by a lady called Farah Naaz(contact number 8186962507) who knows how to speak decent English to misguide customers. I was looking for a maid for domestic cleaning in my house and had posted an ad on Quikr. I got a response from this maid agency stating that they will provide me a maid for INR5,000/- per month with an extra registration charge of INR.4,500/- as once a year fee. She provided me a maid and the maid worked for one day and did not come for the next day. On checking, it was found that the maid had switched off her cell phone and Farah had stopped picking up my calls. I chased her for 9 days and she made one after other false promises through SMS to bring a new maid saying that her mother in law was in the hospital(I have no reason to believe her now). Today she has told me that she will return only 50% of registration fee as per the contract document. This is wrong since the contract also says that she wlll provide an alternative maid within 48 hours if the existing maid leaves the job. it has been more that 120 hours since the previous maid stopped coming. Tips: 1. Only go with agencies which can provide multiple customer references to check their attitude and quality of service. 2. Do not pay the entire registration fees at one go, either pay every month or every quarter. 3. When signing contract, include a clause that the agency owner will answer calls after the registration because they have a habit of not picking up calls once you have made the payment. ask for alternative contacts in the agency and see if they have a helpline or customer care number. 4. Take a photograph of the agent from the agency along with the maid so that you at least have something to show to the police in case they run away with the money. 5. Insist for land line number of agency since this provides address proofs and some credibility to the agency.
