Friends Celebrating Festival of Faiths.

His name is Dev & he is Anand. (Happy) R S Dev is Sachin Tendulkar of MS. Almost every record in MS belongs to him, Highest Dairy Posts, SMS Reviews, Maximum Pictures in photo gallery, meeting maximum MSians in India & abroad.

The time for celebration has come once again. Our Sachin of MS, Mr.Dev sent me a message that he is coming to Bangalore on 27th Feb. Mr. Umesh went to Mangalore for personnel commitments & Sridhar Anna was in Mysore. This time I was the lucky one to organize his stay.

It was around 4 pm at A J International hotel we decided to meet Dev Swamiji. Surprisingly our common man was the first to arrive, followed by me & Azam Khan.

We had lot of time & lot many things to share. Believe me, we never planned to meet, maybe the almighty had different plans for us. I never thought that I will be celebrating Meelad –un-Nabi (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) with Dev, Azam Khan & Paulose ( Amar, Akbar & Anthony)

Very few people today celebrate festivals, keeping in mind the religious & spiritual importance. Commercialization and consumerism have polluted the true religious meanings and traditional customs. It was really a wonderful experience to celebrate Melaad- un- Nabi with my friends.

Our big brother Dev started sharing his knowledge. I believe Knowledge shared is power. But sharing knowledge, especially if it’s useful and unique, isn’t always easy. In today’s time when knowledge comes at a premium, our Dev Swamiji not only shares his knowledge freely with everyone, he also suggests that the use of knowledge that makes it valuable. And Mr. Dev understands that and I am sure he has practiced it.

I have met many personalities with different attitudes, thoughts, but Mr. Dev is a very different person, a man with lots of things with him to express to the world. I can honestly say he is one of the most sincere, honest, hard working, reliable and true professional person I have met. I have always found him to be very reliable and trustworthy friend and, essentially, he does what he says he will do.

Now what you can write about aam aadmi, Paulose, one of the best brains in MS. He is my special common man. Despite being extremely busy, he has always made himself available which is something I will appreciate. He shared his views on spiritual & ritual. He explained beautifully by narrating a story of Priest & the tied cat. Hope everyone knows this interesting story, if not Paulose will write a separate DP.

Mr. Azam Khan shared his experience, magic & mathematic of building low budget houses to the common man. We had very interesting & enlightening topics in between. Specially not to forget about planning & thinking about the uncertain future.

We do not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. It is never wrong to plan for tomorrow today. But Worry about tomorrow wastes today. Life is short, but we have to make it sweet. The Almighty provides everything we need for today. He will take care of tomorrow giving us what we need to handle tomorrow when it comes.

Samaan Sau Baras Ka. Pal ki khabar nahin,

So do not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Finally I thank MS for giving us such a wonderful platform to love, celebrate, share & care. Last month we celebrated Sankranti with Mr Umesh, Sridhar Anna, Mr Azam Khan & our special guest from Delhi Mr Khalid Khan.

It was more than a friend’s meet; it was Friends celebrating Festival of Faiths
