Why am I being preferential to the ones that would comment? Well, because if we don't interact why be here at all?

I have entered MS in the midst of a storm. Someone says someone else is copying and pasting. Well it is fine if you are doing it to help someone. But if you are doing this to do some of the things I find meaningless here in MS (collect points, acquire certain status, etc.), why?????

I am saying so because it seems these things are encouraging malpractices. I am sure when Faisal and his team came up with all these features, they did it to make the MS experience an exciting one, to encourage cross-pollination, to encourage writing, etc. but I think they should review this in the light of such ill-practices.

I know my views will attract brickbats and am completely fine with it. A healthy debate (sometimes even an unhealthy one) is always better than absolute silence.
