Complaint no 2328051
I struggled almost an hour to get this complaint number. Crazy! The phone banking was not ready to take the complaint.
This morning I received a text message in my mobile saying I had overdue to pay in home loan. Surprised, as I have been paying my emEMI promptly. I called the helpine number to check. The exec told there was bounce charges in month of November 2011 due to which charges are levied. Astonished when they informed that my bank account waz insufficiently funded. I told them.. please correct- my ECS had bounced because you had revised EMI and I had no intimation on it. Later I approached my bank to allow debiting new EMI. I knew this change from the sales guy as my EMI changed within 6 months of my loan. I was promised bounce charges will be reversed.
After 2 years, they send me a SMS stating I have to pay whereas I was under the impression it was reversed.
My simple query of why was it not told for two years?.
Why no calls, SMS, letters?
Why was it not reversed?
Why are you asking me now?
Why are you hesitating to reverse the charges when you Dint inform on change in EMI in 2011
Why did I had to write at least 20-25 emails for change of address?
With all the fault with the bank, still the customer is being tormented and harassed to even take a complaint.
I had to be on line for an hour to make them accept my complaint.
