Vaidyaratnam is a culture less company about everything. Their major problem is that lack of professionalism. In this company most of the managers are not professional in nature. Therefore each of them is done their work at their own interest. In a professional management undertaking purchase is done only through the requisition from concerned departments. In this company it is done on the interest of purchase manager and may or may not through the requisition from concerned departments. Therefore purchase manager is process an order of various raw materials at his own interest and there was no space for stacking or there is not any consumption or requirement of that material. If it is done through requisition from concerned departments this problem is to be eliminated.
In this company QC department is a special preference like Article 370 of Kashmir in India. They can coming and going at any time. They can take their work at their own interest . They have special permission for taking leaves and postponing their work at their own interest. In this company performance is to be measured on the basis of giving complaint to the top management. If a staff is not giving a complaint to the top management about others he is treated as a non performed staff. Therefore QC officials are give more preference for giving complaint about others and least importance of testing materials. It is a culture less attitude of a company.
In this company is very poor in the case of industrial automation. Major problem of this is lack of experience engineers and attitude of its directors. If it is automated their entrepreneurs said that it will reducing the work load of workers and they were become idle. But it is helpful for reducing the manpower and efficiency and effectiveness in production. It is helpful for improving their production capacity and reducing the bottlenecks.
